Reading has always been a passion, but not always a habit. Beautiful Ruins was an easy way to jump back in after a 6 month hiatus of not reading fiction. It’s the sweet and tangled story of a beautiful extra on the set of Cleopatra and a regret-filled inn owner on the coast of the Italian Riviera.
It’s dark at times, and has it’s fair share of “real” moments, ultimately however, Beautiful Ruins is a satisfying story about the choices we make and love. It’s quick, funny, and highly entertaining.
“A marvel, an absolute gem of a beach read that is both hilarious and heartbreaking.” (Huffington Post)
“Combines satisfying, old-fashioned storytelling with a modern sensibility.” (Becky Aikman)
